€ 194
Length of the visit
This visit could be done in 3 hours, however, if your group has a little more time available, we strongly recommend that you let us know in advance, so that you can get the most out of your visit of Toulouse. In fact, this rate applies to half-day visits ( from 2 ½ h to 5 h), so if you have the extra time, do not hesitate to let us know- it will not cost more.
Description of the visit
This visit allows your group to discover both the historic city center (by foot) and the outlying areas (by coach) as well.
By coach, the itinerary is: The banks of the Garonne, the Island of the Ramier, the Canal of Midi, the Matabiau train station, the grand boulevards of the 19th century, the area of the Gardens, the Hall of Justice, and the Esquirol square...
By foot, the group will be able to discover all the major monuments of the city center :
The Capitole – A visit to the square, the Henry 4th courtyard, the Dungeon (outside view), the grand reception rooms of the City Hall (depending upon the day of the visit), and especially the famous Henri Martin room and the Gallery of the Illustrious People, the elegant marriage room.
The St Sernin Church, the largest Romanesque church in France, destination of many pilgrims on the road to St Jacques of Compostelle.
The Jacobins Church, with its surprising Southern Gothic architecture of the 13th century, its famous “palmtree column” and the relics of St Thomas Aquinus.
The two Renaissance courtyards of the Bernuy Mansion, built of the riches created by the Pastel industry.
Possible variations
If desired, you can modify the visit in the following ways :
Prolong the coach tour to see other areas, such as the Airbus industry section or the sports complex on the Ramier Island. But if your group only has 3 hours, it would be better to do one monument less by foot; however, if your group has more time, the coach tour can be lengthened without taking away from the walking tour.
Visit the courtyard of the Renaissance mansion Assezat in addition to the courtyard of the Bernuy Mansion, thereby seeing the two greatest examples of Renaissance architecture in Toulouse.
If time allows, the group can visit the lovely Trinity square, and continue on the Cathedral St Etienne.
Options
If you wish, you can plan a visit to either the Crypt of St Sernin Basilica (fee € 1 per person)
or the cloister of the Jacobins Church (fee € 1.5 per person for groups). The cloister is free to all on the first Sunday of each month and always free for school groups and students.

Number of guides
The rates that we indicate are for a sole guide. If you wish, you may choose to have two or three guides in order to create smaller groups. The rate for the visit would then be multiplied by the number of groups you have planned on.
Please note that for the visits of Toulouse which are entirely by foot, we limit the number of participants to 50 for each guide retained. For more than 50 people, a second guide is necessary.
Our rates
The rates indicated for each visit are valid all year, including Sunday and most official holidays.
There are only three dates that require a double rate: New Year’s Day, the first of May and the 25th of December.
